👋The project “Increasing the Energy Efficiency and Safety of Plastics Thermal Processing Using Numerical Simulation”, has received funding through the EURIZON project, which is funded by the European Union under grant agreement No. 871072. The research team affiliated with National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”, Ukraine, includes Prof. Olga Shypul (Principal Investigator of the Project), Dr. Vitalii Myntiuk and Denys Tkachenko (specialists in strength and solid mechanics), Dr. Vadym Garin (Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) specialist) and Dr. Oleh Tryfonov (Specialist in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Simulation of Chemically Reacting Systems).

✅ Today’s webinar presents project’s obtained results in the following topics:
1. Smoothing of a liquid surface by surface tension forces.
2. CFD simulation of plastic parts melting during TEM processing taking into account temperature-dependent properties of plastics.

⬆️The webinar was attended by the project’s EU partners: Dr. Attila Egedy (University of Pannonia, Hungary); Prof. Andrzej Teodorczyk, Prof. Piotr Lapka, Dr. Rudy Wojciech, Dr. Łukasz Kapusta (the Warsaw University of Technology, Poland); and Dr. Yevgen Tsegelnyk (O.M. The first webinar on the dissemination of the results of the project "Increasing the Energy Efficiency and Safety of Plastics Thermal Processing Using Numerical Simulation" within the framework of the EURIZON FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM "Remote Research Grants for Ukrainian Researchers".
      This project has received funding through the EURIZON project, which is funded by the European Union under grant agreement No. 871072. The research team includes Olga Shypul is Principal Investigator of the Project, Vitalii Myntiuk and Denys Tkachenko are specialists in strength and solid mechanics, Vadym Garin is Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) specialist, and Oleh Tryfonov is Specialist in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Simulation of Chemically Reacting Systems. Today`s webinar shows the results of research on the project, obtained in the first quarter of its implementation.
     Перший вебінар щодо поширення результатів проєкту «Підвищення енергоефективності та безпеки термічної обробки пластмас за допомогою чисельного моделювання» в рамках ПРОГРАМИ EURIZON FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM «Remote Research Grants for Ukrainian Researchers». Цей проект отримав фінансування через проект EURIZON, який фінансується Європейським Союзом за грантовою угодою № 871072. До дослідницької групи входять Ольга Шипуль – головний дослідник проекту, Віталій Минтюк та Денис Ткаченко – спеціалісти з міцності та механіки твердого тіла, Вадим Гарін — фахівець з обчислювальної гідродинаміки (CFD), а Олег Трифонов — фахівець з обчислювальної гідродинаміки (CFD) та моделювання хімічно реагуючих систем. Сьогоднішній вебінар демонструє результати досліджень проекту, отримані за перший квартал його реалізації.
